-
Venue:
NIPS Institute of Hotel Management, Ranchi
Description
Organized by: 1st & 2nd Years Students
NIPS Hospitality Management Institute encourages collaborative student-teacher relationships across our four campuses. As the fruit of constant practices, our 1st and 2nd years at NIPS Institute of Hotel Management, Ranchi, organized a surprise cake-cutting ceremony to express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on Teacher’s Day. On the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, we honour the dedication, guidance, and support of the teaching staff. Our students secretly planned the entire event, arranging for a beautifully decorated cake and inviting the faculty members under the pretext of a regular meeting. Upon arrival, the teachers were greeted with cheers and heartfelt appreciation, creating a joyful and emotional atmosphere. The celebration began with the Center Head and faculty members cutting the cake with smiling faces, laughter, and gratitude.
The event held a major significance in exploring our skills and capabilities. Planning and executing a successful event without any assistance from our teachers shows their leadership and teamwork skills. On top, the surprise element greatly touched the teachers, showing the respect and admiration their students hold for them. The event also strengthened the sense of community and connection within the institute. The Teachers’ Day cake-cutting celebration was a memorable and heartwarming occasion that deepened the bond between our teachers and students. We’re proud of our students for their consideration and made efforts to make it truly special for our faculty members.
